The workshop "Kļavu lapu cepures darināšana | Meistarklase" takes place in Daugavpils at the Daugavpils Vienības nams, Tradīciju māja (entrance from Saules Street) on 26 September 2026. Led by Maija Kivleniece, a master weaver from the Latvian Chamber of Crafts and head of "Pūpoli" folk art studio, the event introduces participants to the unique craft of weaving maple leaf hats. Attendees will learn how to select and prepare leaves, weave a hat, and receive practical tips to develop their skills further. The workshop is open to everyone regardless of prior experience and offers the chance to create a functional and aesthetic headpiece or original gift.
