The concert programme “Mīlestība ziemā” is a musical event taking place at Ventspils Pārventas Library from 4 to 6 December 2026. The programme features iconic 20th-century ballads and beloved songs from classic Christmas and New Year films. Nikita Osipovs, an actor and singer at the M. Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, will perform pieces from legendary artists such as Alla Pugacheva, Maija Kristalinska, Muslim Magomayev, and others. A special segment is dedicated to music from films like “Irony of Fate”, “The Diamond Arm”, “Home Alone” and more. The musical ensemble “Armaestro” led by pianist Anatoliy Livcha accompanies the programme. The concert is held in Latvian and Russian and lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes.
