MANHATTAN SHORT īsfilmu festivāls 2026 is an international short film festival taking place at Daugavpils Vienības nams, Tradīciju māja (entrance from Saules Street), in Daugavpils from 24 to 30 September 2026. Audiences in cities around the world watch 10 finalist short films simultaneously and vote for the best film and actor, acting as the festival jury. Films are screened in their original languages with Latvian and Russian subtitles. The programme duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Screenings are on 24 September at 18:00, 26 September at 16:00, and 30 September at 18:00. Recommended for ages 12 and up. The Baltic FilmTales award for children and youth short films will also be presented. Photography and filming may take place during the festival.
