DIENA PROJĀM PALĒJA is a theatre performance in Valmiera at the Valmieras teātris Jaunā zāle on 20 September 2026. Inspired by Miko Rimminens’s novel “Alus tarbas romāns”, the show presents a 24-hour-long tragicomic journey with focus on the path, not the destination. Directed by Aigars Apinis, with dramaturgy by Ance Muižniece, stage design by Reinis Suhanovs, lighting by Oskars Pauliņš, costumes by Ilze Vītoliņa, music by Jānis Šipkēvics, and poetry by Marts Pujāts. The cast includes Ieva Estere Barkāne, Rūdis Bīviņš, Ģertrūde Rubins, among others. The story centres on three friends in the Kallio district of Helsinki, exploring themes of friendship and urban atmosphere through vivid scenes.
