"EGOMANIAKI" is a black comedy in two acts at Valmiera Theatre's New Hall in Valmiera, running from 22 September to 27 November 2026. Directed and designed by Reinis Suhanovs, the play by Artūrs Dīcis stars Anna Nele Āboliņa and Aksels Aizkalns as a couple on the verge of thirty whose toxic relationship continues after their breakup. The story unfolds over a single day during a car journey and a hike in the forest, balancing irony, sharp dialogue, and tragicomedy. The production explores modern relationships, pride, and generational attitudes to family, performed as an intimate chamber piece relying on the interplay of two actors.
