The ballet "Džungļu grāmata" is performed at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet in Riga from 1 November 2026 to 30 May 2027. Inspired by Rudyard Kipling's collection, this production explores compassion, family, and love as a human child is unexpectedly raised by a wise wolf in the jungle. As the boy grows, he faces numerous adventures and discoveries, torn between life among animals and the call of the human world. Choreography is by Raimonds Martinovs, with music composed by Kārlis Lācis. Suitable for various ages, the ballet is available on several dates throughout the season.
