The ballet "Gulbju ezers" will be performed at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet in Riga from 14 October 2026 to 20 April 2027. This production unites Tchaikovsky's renowned music with the classic choreography of Petipa and Ivanov, enhanced by Aivars Leimanis’s choreographic additions for the 2020 staging. The visual concept is shaped by artist Roberts Perdziola (costumes) and set designer Juan Guillermo Nova. The performance follows Prince Siegfried’s encounter with Odette and Odile and the struggle between good and evil, offering a richly detailed presentation of classical ballet through dance, gesture, and character.
