Pianiste Iveta Pinkule’s 50th anniversary concert “No valša līdz…” is a piano music concert in Riga at the House of the Latvian Society on 24 September 2026. The festive program features waltzes and dance-inspired works, including Franz Schubert’s “Noble Waltzes” op. 77 and “Sentimental Waltzes” op. 50, Maurice Ravel’s cycle “Noble and Sentimental Waltzes,” Spanish miniatures for piano (Turina, Mompou, Albeniz), and Béla Bartók’s Six Romanian Dances performed alongside cellist Ivars Bezprozvanovs. The concert concludes with three Alberto Ginastera piano pieces. The event will be filmed and photographed, with materials possibly used for publicity. The concert also highlights the pianist’s achievements both as an educator and performer.
