The musical comedy "Čārlija tante" also known as "Sveiki, esmu jūsu tante!" will run at Rīgas Latviešu Biedrības nams in Riga from 15 to 16 October 2026. Well-known theatre and film actors, international musical theatre and operetta professionals, and laureates of international competitions star in this lively two-act show based on motifs from B. Thomas's play. The story centers on a witty character who, for love and to help his friends, pretends to be a wealthy aunt from distant Brazil—triggering a series of comic situations, misunderstandings, and sparkling humour. The performance is staged in Russian, recommended for ages 16 and up, and lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes, including an intermission. Direction by Ruslans Rudnijs and musical direction by Vladislavs Soļaņikovs.
