The musical "Meža gulbji" will take place at the Dailes Theatre Grand Hall in Riga from 16 September to 3 December 2026. Created by Māra Zālīte and Raimonds Pauls, and inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, this two-act musical tells the story of eleven princes cursed to become swans and their sister Elīza, whose love might free them. Directed by Klāvs Mellis, the performance features new arrangements and specially written songs, performed by a large cast of actors and musicians. The show is in Latvian with English surtitles; for optimal reading, seats from the 7th row and back are recommended.
