PARĪZES BOHĒMA is an eco-fashion operetta in Cēsis at Concert Hall CĒSIS, running from 4 October to 6 November 2026. Directed by Sonora Vaice, the Operetta Theatre’s new production is inspired by Imre Kálmán’s operetta “Violetta of Montmartre”. Classic operetta meets contemporary musical theatre, dance and haute couture in a story of love, passion, ambition and dreams set in Parisian bohemia. Human characters are intertwined with a mysterious insect kingdom, reflected in the visual language of the costumes by Elīna Milta-Niedrāja. Soloists, dancers, a choir and musicians appear on stage, while Kálmán’s melodies receive elegant Parisian jazz arrangements. Anastasia Dolgoņenko performs Violette on 4 and 25 October; Jolanta Strikaite performs the role on the other listed dates.
