The performance "VĀRNA. Flight in One Act" is a ballet, music, and movement show staged at the Daile Theatre Grand Hall in Riga from 4–5 December 2026. This collaboration between composer Reinis Sējāns and Latvian National Ballet soloist and choreographer Elza Leimane explores an inner human journey, the boundaries between the beautiful and the ugly, and the process of self-discovery. The show features chamber orchestra "Sinfonietta Rīga" and leading soloists of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet. The libretto is by Lāsma Olte, with costumes designed by Madara Botmane. Audiences can expect a visually powerful and emotionally engaging experience presented with symphonic scale.
