The poetry concert “Dzejkoncertu cikls. Kārlis Būmeisters “Starp dzeju un vectēvu”” takes place in Riga at Kultūras centrs IĻĢUCIEMS on 31 October 2026. It starts at 18:00. In this special original programme, Kārlis Būmeisters, also known as Kaža, brings the poetry of his grandfather, Latvian dissident and national resistance movement participant Juris Būmeisters, into his music. The personal story of family, memories and an encounter between two generations connects Juris Būmeisters’ words with Kārlis’ compositions, creating a new and contemporary sound.
