The poetry concert “Saviem vārdiem”. Ritvars Logins un Rūta Sīpola takes place on 5 December 2026 in Rīga at Kultūras centrs IĻĢUCIEMS. Flautist Rūta Sīpola and New Riga Theatre actor Ritvars Logins bring together the poetry and correspondence of Knuts Skujenieks with beloved songs featuring the poet’s words, searching for an answer to what it means to feel free. The programme reflects on Skujenieks’s inner freedom and his correspondence with his wife Inta during seven years of imprisonment. The event is in Latvian. Visitors with reduced mobility should note that it takes place on the second floor and the building has no lift.
