DZEJAS KONCERTS “JAUNĪBA”

The poetry concert “Jaunība” will take place in Liepāja at the Liepājas koncertzāle LIELAIS DZINTARS, Lielā zāle, on 20 September 2026. Soprano Nora Kalniņa, pianist Rihards Plešanovs, and poet Ivars Šteinbergs come together for a performance blending chamber music and poetry, inspired by Šteinbergs’ award-winning collection “Jaunība”. Composer Henrijs Poikāns has created a new work “Kopš tevi zinu” especially for this concert. The programme also features works by Georgs Pelēcis, Jēkabs Nīmanis, Anna Fišere, Evija Skuķe, Jēkabs Bernāts, and John Cage. After the concert, there will be an informal meeting with the artists in the 2nd floor gallery. The concert is in one part and lasts about 1 hour. Recommended age: 7+. The event is in Latvian.
