The play "SVEŠĀ ĀDA", based on Dace Rukšāne's novel "Krieva āda", takes place at Liepājas koncertzāle LIELAIS DZINTARS, Great Hall, in Liepāja from 13 September to 5 November 2026. This ironic drama centres on the fate of a mother and daughter in postwar Liepāja, exploring longing for love and fulfilment. The cast features Inese Kučinska, Agnija Dreimane, and Kārlis Artejevs. The production is nominated for a Spēlmaņu nakts theatre award. Visuals by Ilze Vītoliņa, lighting by Krista Erdmane.
