Liepājas Simfoniskā orķestra sezonas atklāšanas koncerts
Liepājas Simfoniskā orķestra sezonas atklāšanas koncerts is a symphonic music event in Liepāja, taking place at the Great Amber Concert Hall on 19 September 2026. The concert features cellist Daniel Müller-Schott with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra conducted by Guntis Kuzma. The programme includes Antonín Dvořák's Cello Concerto, the world premiere of Juris Karlsons' orchestral vision “Saules lēktā”, and Arthur Honegger's dramatic Symphony Liturgique. An induction loop system will support visitors with hearing impairments; the best experience is in the stalls’ central seats (rows 5–12, seats 6–28). The stage is extended, so row 5 is the first audience row. Reduced admission requires supporting documentation.
