“Vīrietis dekrētā” is a theatre play touring Latvia from 2 November 2026 to 9 January 2027, with performances at several venues. The story follows a 55-year-old man who unexpectedly goes on parental leave and faces the challenges of home life instead of his familiar working routine. His best friend helps him with advice based on women’s forums on the internet. The play is presented at ULBROKAS PĒRLE Cultural Centre, Gulbene District Cultural Centre, CATA Cultural Centre in Cēsis, Alūksne Cultural Centre and Ādaži Cultural Centre. The cast includes Ģirts Ķesteris, Raimonda Vazdika, Elīna Bojarkina and Imants Strads, though the cast may change. The play is in Latvian and intended for adults.
