LĪVI svin 50 is an anniversary concert series in Liepāja at the Great Hall of Concert Hall LIELAIS DZINTARS, running from 4 October to 11 December 2026. Celebrating 50 years of the Latvian rock band Līvi, the concerts take audiences on a journey through the group’s musical history, from its beginnings to the present day. The programme includes iconic hits as well as songs rarely performed live, including “Spoku koks”, “Dzezsgriezējs”, “Dzimtā valoda”, “Rožu laukums” and “Es karājos tavā bizē”. The sound is enriched by symphonic orchestra musicians: violinists Baiba Lasmane, Agrita Hrustaļova and Ingus Grīnbergs, trumpeters Matīss Smiltiņš and Kristers Ketverts, and trombonist Dāvis Matīss Leišavnieks. Expect loud guitars, authentic lyrics, the spirit of freedom and live rock energy.
