Valmieras teātra viesizrāde MAZAIS CILVĒKS is a theatre production in Riga at Dailes Theatre’s Great Hall from 4 to 5 February 2027. Based on Erich Kästner’s novel, the two-part production combines theatre with circus elements. It tells the story of Maksītis Pihelšteinietis, a five-centimetre-tall person who dreams of becoming a circus artist. To achieve his goal, he must be persistent, decisive and brave; just as his dream is within reach, a frightening crime turns everything upside down. The production is intended for the whole family and for children from grades 1 to 6. Directed by Toms Treinis, it features Kārlis Dzintars Zahovskis, Tomass Ralfs Ābolkalns, Aigars Apinis, Ieva Estere Barkāne and other actors.
