"DZEN SAVU ARKLU PĀR MIRUŠO KAULIEM" is a vegetarian thriller staged from 22 September to 26 November 2026 at the Dailes Theatre Grand Hall in Riga. This production is based on the novel by Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk, weaving a philosophical crime story around Janina, a persistent woman with a passion for nature and astrology. A string of mysterious deaths unfolds in a remote Polish village, with Janina as the central figure. The play is directed by Ola Mafaalani alongside an international team of artists. Music is performed by the State Academic Choir "Latvija", with lead roles by Chulpan Khamatova, Artūrs Skrastiņš, Juris Bartkevičs, and others. Audiences can expect a visually rich performance combining poetry, humor, and unexpected stage magic.
