TREŠĀS IMPĒRIJAS BAILES UN POSTS is a theatre production in Valmiera at Valmiera Theatre’s Great Hall from 31 October 2026 to 9 January 2027. Directed by Indra Roga, this two-part staging of Bertolt Brecht’s play examines populism, propaganda, poverty and repression, asking how people become manipulable, how totalitarianism is born and how individual choices contribute to it. Set design is by Mārtiņš Vilkārsis, costumes by Anna Heinrihsone and music by Jēkabs Jančevskis. Valmiera Theatre actors and musicians perform in Latvian. The production is intended for adults.
