PRIMA FACIE is a theatrical solo performance in Liepāja at the Liepāja Concert Hall LIELAIS DZINTARS, Great Hall, from 10 October to 10 December 2026. Based on Suzie Miller’s play and directed by Inese Mičule, the production follows Tessa, an accomplished criminal defence lawyer whose faith in the rules of justice is shaken by a humiliating, life-changing experience. The solo performance examines the impact of court decisions and the way women are regarded as witnesses in court. Agnese Jēkabsone performs the lead and only role. Set design is by Ieva Kauliņa, with lighting by Viesturs Andersons. The premiere is on 10 October.
