The 45th anniversary concert “Mēs varam līdzās būt” by the Jāzeps Medins Riga 1st Music School Boys’ Choir is a choir music event in Liepāja, held at the Great Amber Concert Hall (LIELAIS DZINTARS), Main Hall, from 8 November to 9 December 2026. The choir, led by conductor Romāns Vanags, will be joined by vocalists Ance Krauze, Zigfrīds Muktupāvels, Jānis Aišpurs, Kārlis Būmeistars (with his son in the choir), and pianist-composer Uldis Marhilevičs. Local boys’ choirs will also participate in select songs at each location. The program features both new works and well-known songs by Latvian composers, including pieces from “Soldiers’ Songs”. The concert appeals to a wide audience, offering a rich musical experience.
