Personīgo stāstu konference “ANŠLAVS UN ES. Starp vārdu, otu, skatuvi un ekrānu” and the opening of the exhibition “Anšlavam Eglītim 120” are a literature and art event in Sigulda at Kultūras centrs “Siguldas devons” on 14 October 2026. The conference runs from 10:00 to 16:30 and requires prior registration. Speakers will share their personal stories about Anšlavs Eglītis, focusing on his work in literature, visual art, theatre and cinema, as well as his roles as a writer, painter, playwright, screenwriter, director and journalist. The exhibition opens alongside the conference and is on view until 14 November. It presents evidence from three important periods of Eglītis’s life: summers in Inciems, his years of painting and his exile years in Hollywood. The exhibition is curated by Bārbala Gulbe and Ilze Ceļmillere, with scenography by Margarita Budze.
