Izstāde “Anšlavam Eglītim 120”
Izstāde “Anšlavam Eglītim 120” is a jubilee exhibition at the cultural centre “Siguldas devons” in Sigulda from 14 October to 14 November 2026. It presents the life and creative legacy of writer, playwright and painter Anšlavs Eglītis through three important points: his summers in Inciems, his work as a painter and his years in exile in Hollywood. Photographs, paintings from the Latvian National Museum of Art, diaries from the Turaida Museum Reserve and other historical evidence create a layered portrait of the artist. Visitors can also hear Eglītis’s own voice in the exhibition space. The curators are Bārbala Gulbe and Ilze Ceļmillere; Margarita Budze is the scenographer and Anete Konste the text author. Address: Pils iela 10, Sigulda.
