Per se is a contemporary physical performance and theatre production in Riga at the Latvian National Theatre from 1–2 December 2026. It is the diploma work of the Contemporary Physical Performance Making master’s programme at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. The performance takes place throughout the theatre building, with the meeting point in the National Theatre foyer at Kronvalda bulvāris 2. Four Latvian actors meet physical-performance artists from Korea, Spain, Australia and Estonia on a shared “playing field”, exploring whether new answers to age-old questions can be found. Curator: Dita Lūriņa. The performers are Maija Doveika, Jana Ļisova, Matīss Kučinskis, Kārlis Reijers, Javier Cárcel Hidalgo-Saavedra, Dongbin Lee, Anette Pärn and Edward Ronald.
