The play "Bastardi" will be performed at the Large Hall of the National Theatre in Riga from 17 October to 20 November 2026. It follows the lives of 11th-grade boys at an elite school who, while navigating dreams and limits, are challenged by a new teacher aiming to reshape their values through art and freedom. The play is written by Kārlis Vērdiņš and Matīss Kaža and directed by Matīss Kaža. The cast includes Matīss Kučinskis, Emīls Ralfs Zagorskis, Rūdolfs Sprukulis, Uldis Siliņš, Santa Breikša, Igors Šelegovskis, Juris Lisners, and Uldis Anže.
