The concert "Orions. Mendelsons. Sibelius" will take place at Tukuma pilsētas Kultūras nams in Tukums on 3 October 2026. The programme features Selga Mence’s overture "Orions" (premiere), Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, and Jean Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2. Violinist Elza Siliņa, one of Latvia’s brightest young performers, will play together with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra conducted by Guntis Kuzma. The concert combines contemporary Latvian music and highlights of the classical symphonic repertoire, promising an emotionally rich experience.
