Opera "Rozes kavalieris" will be performed in Riga at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet from 25 to 27 March 2027. Richard Strauss’s opera combines comic situations and the lightness of the waltz with emotional poignancy, revealing a subtle story about love and the passage of time. The production is directed by Viesturs Kairišs, with set and costume design by Germans Ermičs, lighting by Alex Brok Light Design and movement direction by Elīna Gediņa. "Rozes kavalieris" was staged at the Latvian National Opera only once before, in 1930. The venue is at Aspazijas bulvāris 3.
