On 15 October 2026, the musical family show "Liepu Tēva teikas" will take place at the Great Hall of Liepāja Concert Hall Lielais dzintars. Based on stories by Liepāja native Varis Siliņš, the performance invites audiences to discover unusual places in the city and meet characters like Svepšķis, the Metalurg’s Sea Cow, and the Lovestruck Chimney. Actors Maija Romaško-Burkevica and Kaspars Gods and musicians performing on various instruments are featured. The show lasts about 1 hour. Audiences are invited to participate in creating new tales. Morning (11:00, 13:00) sessions are recommended for schoolchildren in grades 1–6, while the evening session (19:00) welcomes everyone interested.
