Izstāde “Skaņas slepenie ceļi ziemeļu ūdeņos” is an immersive, multimedia exhibition in Daugavpils at the Rotko Museum, running from 30 October to 29 November 2026. Created by the Danish creative collective “Between Music”, it brings together underwater recordings from Finland’s Arctic deep lakes and the fjords of Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Four Nordic artists interpret these sounds through music and animation. The exhibition explores communication between species, the memory of sailors who died at sea, and the fragility of Arctic ecosystems in the face of climate change. A set of documentary films follows the artists’ acoustic underwater research.
