Laimas Eglītes izstāde “Pirms vārdiem” is an art exhibition in Daugavpils at the Rothko Museum, Mihaila iela 3, from 11 September to 29 November 2027. The exhibition presents the artist’s creative approach, shaped by Riga pantomime’s search for a new stage language. Moving from the stage to painting, Laima Eglīte retained pantomime’s characteristic principles of thought, making movement organically present in her works. Her paintings feature mimes, clowns, mysterious figures and elegant ladies—characters in whom fragility, self-irony and dignity meet. The exhibition is curated by Uldis Čamans of Galerija Mans’s.
