The ballet "Kazanova" is performed at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet in Riga, at Aspazijas Boulevard 3, from 16 September 2026 to 14 April 2027. This production, set in the vibrant world of the 18th century, was created by choreographer Kenneth Tindall, composer Kerry Muzzey, designer and costume artist Christopher Oram, and dramaturg Ian Kelly. The performance explores the multifaceted life of Giacomo Casanova, depicting him as a writer, priest, musician, actor, lawyer, diplomat, spy, philosopher, food connoisseur and passionate lover. The ballet delves into Casanova’s mind and heart, introducing audiences to the fascinating era.
