AMERIKAS LATVIEŠI is a theatre production taking place at Liepāja Theatre in Liepāja from 18 October to 11 November 2026. The play follows a teenager adopted from a Latvian orphanage by a family in the USA and her journey exploring her identity in both Latvian and American Latvian communities. The story highlights the search for belonging and the meaning of Latvian heritage in the diaspora. The cast includes Madara Kalna, Kārlis Artejevs, Gatis Maliks, Valts Skuja, Hugo Puriņš, among others. Directed by Valters Sīlis, with scenography by Uģis Bērziņš, music by Edgars Raginskis, and lighting by Mārtiņš Feldmanis.
