SONORA VAICE Marijas Kallasas lomā | Terensa Maknelija lugā “Meistarklase” is a dramatic theatre play touring Latvia from 23 October 2026 to 11 April 2027, with performances at several venues. Terrence McNally’s play explores legendary opera diva Maria Callas through her life, memories, love, losses and personal sacrifices, focusing on the master classes she led at Juilliard in New York in the early 1970s. SONORA VAICE plays Callas and directs the production. The cast also includes Tatjana Gurēviča or Elīna Bojarkina, Anna Emanuēla Vaice or Elīna Bojarkina, and pianist Māris Žagars. This is not an opera concert or vocal master class. The performance lasts 2 hours 30 minutes in two parts, with a 20-minute interval, and is recommended for ages 14 and above. Performances take place at Liepājas teātris, Latvijas Nacionālā bibliotēka Ziedoņa zāle, Dzintaru koncertzāle, ULBROKAS PĒRLE, Kultūras centrs, Slampes Kultūras pils and Salaspils koncertzāle.
