The play "VĪNES MEŽA STĀSTI" is a tragicomic melodrama in two acts, staged at Liepāja Theatre in Liepāja from 21 to 28 November 2026. Based on the play by Ödön von Horváth and directed by Elmārs Seņkovs, the production centers on a fateful encounter in a fashionable city shopping street, leading to complex intimate and social dilemmas. The story explores love, responsibility, and the threat of authoritarianism, showing how global tensions manifest in personal relationships. The cast includes Santa Breikša, Rolands Beķeris, Karīna Tatarinova, among others. Set and costumes are by Marija Ulmane, with music by Edgars Mākens.
