ŽIŽEKS. PĪTERSONS. GADSIMTA DUELIS is a theatre production in Riga at Jaunais Rīgas teātris from 5 December 2026 to 6 January 2027. In the New Hall at Lāčplēša iela 25, the ideas of Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Žižek and Canadian clinical psychology doctor Jordan Peterson meet in an imagined intellectual confrontation. The production revisits the clash that remained unrealised in their public discussion in Toronto, using their own quotations and arguments. Directed and designed by Alvis Hermanis, it features Vilis Daudziņš and Kaspars Znotiņš. Running time is 2 hours 30 minutes, including two acts.
