VĀRDIŅŠ is a French comedy at Liepājas teātris in Liepāja from 29 November 2026 to 21 January 2027. Directed by Dž. Dž. Džilindžers, the production centres on a dinner at Elizabeth and Pierre’s home, attended by family and friends: Elizabeth’s brother Vincent, his expecting partner Anna and their friend Claude. The evening turns into a chain of misunderstandings when the chosen name for the expected child is revealed. The cast includes Signe Dancīte, Everita Pjata-Gertnere, Rolands Beķeris, Kaspars Kārkliņš and Mārtiņš Kalita. The play is based on the work that inspired the film “Le Prénom” (2012).
