“VECĀKAIS DĒLS” is a comedy at Daugavpils Theatre in Daugavpils from 13 November 2026 to 7 January 2027. The production takes place on the Experimental Stage on the theatre’s 3rd floor and lasts 2 hours 30 minutes in two acts. It is intended for audiences aged 14 and over and performed in Russian. Busigin pretends to be the household’s illegitimate son, and the seemingly innocent joke turns an entire family’s life upside down. The play explores parent-child relationships, marriage and life shared by different generations. Directed by Edgars Māliņš, with staging by Oļegs Šapošņikovs. The cast includes Mihails Samodahovs, Miroslavs Blakunovs, Vladislavs Vasiļjevs, Artjoms Afanasjevs, Kristina Tiško, Jevgeņijs Mihailovs and Aleksandra Koguce.
