VECAJO KULTS is a theatre performance in Riga at Dirty Deal Theatre, taking place from 7 November to 16 December 2026. The production explores ageing, mortality and the transition of consciousness through a layered community gathering that is at once a prayer, conversation, song and meditation. Its text presents the personal perspectives of the performance participants on old age and the end of life. The founders of the cult are Mārcis Broks, Dace Everss, Ģirts Krūmiņš, Edgars Mākens, Katrīna Neiburga, Iveta Pole, Ilmārs Šlāpins and Regnārs Vaivars. Smoke is used during the performance, so visitors sensitive to smoke should take this into account.
