

The play "Principiāla nostāja" is the second part of a trilogy dedicated to renowned investigator Rita Aksenoka, staged at the National Theatre's Great Hall in Riga from 22 September to 15 November 2026. Written by Jānis Joņevs and directed by Roberts Dauburs, the production explores the years of Latvia's regained independence, touching on turbulent events such as racketeering, monument bombings, and confrontations with OMON forces. Cast includes Marija Bērziņa, Uldis Anže, Ainārs Ančevskis, and Romāns Bargais. The play offers an insight into Latvia’s history through the experiences of its protagonists.
