PRIEKŠPILSĒTAS EŅĢEĻI is a contemporary theatre production in Riga at Dailes Theatre, running from 25 to 27 February 2027. Marta Mercedes Jilhes’s play was translated from Finnish by Gunta Pāvولا. The production is performed in Latvian, English and Finnish, with English and Latvian surtitles. Directed by Minna Lund, it is created by a Latvian and Finnish creative team and offers a warm, ironic look at an Instagram-era Mona Lisa, tears, ageing and loneliness that never makes it into a livestream. The cast includes Iveta Pole, Katrīna Griga, Milēna Miškēviča, Aleksi Holko and Pentti Korhonen. The production is made in cooperation with Espoo City Theatre and Oulu City Theatre.
