SALA is a theatre performance at Liepājas teātris in Liepāja, presented from 10 November 2026 to 15 January 2027. Directed by Renāte Kērda, one of Estonia’s recognised theatre makers, it is her first production in Latvia. The performance offers a “blank page” experience, leaving the title as the first impulse and allowing the audience space for discovery and reflection. An island may be a physical place, a state, a distance or a border — personal, public and unreachable at once. The cast includes Polina Čerņenoka, Gatis Maliks, Hugo Puriņš, Edgars Ozoliņš and Kārlis Ērglis. The premiere took place on 26 September 2026.
