The younger brother, Austin, is an aspiring screenwriter aiming to break into Hollywood. His older brother, Lee, steals TVs and lives life on society's edge. One believes in order, the other belongs to the desert. When these two brothers meet in their mother's empty house on the outskirts of Los Angeles, their dreams and ambitions clash, turning the American myth into a battleground. Both are driven to sell their script ideas to Hollywood, leading to a darkly humorous duel about brotherhood, ambitions, and dreams. The performance is in Latvian with English surtitles. Created with the support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and co-financing from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. Written by Sam Shepard. Directed by Mateusz Staniak.
