In 2011, Latvia's parliament was dissolved for the first time in the country's history, an action enthusiastically supported by the public. President Valdis Zatlers became a national hero, and the party bearing his name took part in the elections. This production examines the consequences of the president’s decree—whether it weakened oligarchs’ influence or led them to unite their power. The play explores issues such as media dependence on oligarchs, corruption scandals, and political maneuvering. It questions how these decisions have shaped the country fifteen years later.
