Opera "Toska" is Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece staged at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet in Riga, running from 13 November 2026 to 13 February 2027. Directed by Dmitry Bertman, the performance unfolds the passionate relationship of opera diva Tosca and artist Cavaradossi against the backdrop of Rome’s luxurious interiors. The production also highlights the complex relations between Tosca and the chief of the secret police, Scarpia, leading to a dramatic resolution in the final act.
