“Muzikālās pasakas mazajiem. Smilšu pasaka ar zelta putnu” is a musical fairy tale for children in Jūrmala at Dzintari Concert Hall on 16 February 2027. A golden bird is hiding in the Kingdom of Sand, and the Desert Ruler, a jackal, a princess and desert robbers set out to find it, guided by the belief: “Whoever finds the golden bird will be blessed with happiness.” The performance features Elza Rozentāle, Māris Jēkabsons, Dināra Rudāne, Rihards Plešānovs, Nils Īle and students of the Riga Ballet School. Sand cinema by Guna Miķelsone creates the desert atmosphere, with Karina Bērziņa as narrator.
