The musical performance “Čipolīno Jaungada piedzīvojumi” is a family theatre show in Riga at Rīgas Latviešu Biedrības nams, running from 19–27 December 2026. Inspired by Gianni Rodari’s classic, this lively production tells the adventures of Cipollino and his friends in a colourful fairy-tale world of fruits and vegetables, featuring original music, vibrant costumes, and interactive games with the audience. Live music is performed by Gidons Grinbergs, appearing as Professor Pear and violinist, and well-known actors including Sergejs Dobrotvorskis, Antons Patlins, Andrejs Mošāns, and Darja Kravcova join the show. Directed by Andrejs Sediševs. The performance is in Russian, suitable for families and children. Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes. Children under 4 may attend on a parent’s lap.
