The XX Bērnu starptautiskais baleta pasaku festivāls ZIEMAS PASAKA is an international ballet fairy tale festival for children, taking place from 8 to 18 December 2026 at VEF Kultūras pils in Riga. Ballet schools for children from Latvia and other countries such as Germany, Georgia, Japan, Spain, France, Estonia, and Lithuania participate, each bringing their own ballet fairy tale productions. On 8 December, the programme features 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' (Tālis Sils Dance Studio and Dance Theatre 'Grande') and a 'Surprise Show'. On 18 December, performances include 'Little Red Riding Hood's Adventures' (Tatjana Pavļenina's Classical Dance Studio) and 'Shining Impressions' (Italy). Creative workshops for children are offered before performances. The festival atmosphere fosters kindness and love, making it a family-friendly cultural event for young audiences.
